Last week Trust members were balloted over what the Trust should do regarding who takes the club forward, the Consortium or a fan owned, Trust run club.

Members were given two options:

Option One:The Trust withdraws its statement of intent to the FA and allows time for the Consortium to evaluate their position alone.

Option Two:Ask the Consortium to withdraw their statement of intent allowing the Trust to forge ahead with plans for a supporters owned club.

This evening the ballot was counted by Malcolm Powell from the Fax Trust who acted as an independent adjudicator. The results were as follows:

Of 163 returned ballots:

Option One:97

Option Two:60

Spoilt papers:6

As shown the majority of members have decided to back option one.The Trust will take this mandate and intends to withdraw its statement of intent to the FA.
