The Trust Board would like to reinforce its commitment to ensuring that senior professional football continues to exist in Halifax.

A further letter is going to be sent to the consortium reminding them of our offer of help and to try and clarify their position regarding the future of the club.We feel communication with the Consortium is vital as their current wall of silence is damaging the club and dividing supporters.

With regards the Trust calling a public meeting it is felt by the Trust Board that it wouldn't be a useful exercise until the Consortium's position is known. However if another supporters group were to call a public meeting the Trust would certainly support them and help in any way it can.

The Trust continues to work on plan B which will be ready to go should it be needed.We have balloted members asking them whether they want the Trust to withdraw their letter of intent to the FA or ask the consortium to withdraw their offer.We should know their views by the end of the week.The Trust will take its mandate from this ballot.

The Trust met on Sunday afternoon where it was decided that Allan Baker would take over as Chair and Jack Haymer as club representative.These positions are for the interim between now and the Trust AGM scheduled for the end of June.
