The Club has announced the prices for their first season in the Evo-Stik Premier League for the 2010-2011 season.

ADMISSION PRICES

The admission prices have regrettably increased for the first time since the Club was first formed two years ago, due to a series of Stadium based increases and to a lesser extent the impending VAT increase in January 2011. The prices for the forthcoming season are:

* The Under 12s prices are unaltered from last season. However, we cannot stress highly enough, that a regular visitor should purchase the very attractive £59 season ticket as listed below, along with other benefits. ** We also suggest the same for the Under 7s, who have an admission price of £2. By buying a season ticket, entry is FREE with added benefits as highlighted in the season ticket section.

SEASON TICKETS (For 21 Home League Games)

* Under 12s who buy a season ticket, will automatically receive free membership (normally £10.00 per season) for the 'Junior Blues' Supporter's Club, will receive a free Junior Blues Mug and FC Halifax Town pen and a 10% discount voucher for a Junior Replica Shirt. We are grateful to Sovereign Healthcare who have continued with their incentive to help us maintain the Under 12 ticket at the same price and at such an attractive price.

** Under 7s who enrol for a season ticket receive it FREE OF CHARGE, again this is through the joint initiative with our sponsor, Sovereign Healthcare and the community support programme. In addition, they also receive free membership (normally £10.00 per season) for the 'Junior Blues' Supporter's Club. Also, they will receive a free Junior Blues mug and FC Halifax Town pen and a free invitation to the 'Christmas Party'.

The Season Ticket covers League games only. Tickets are not transferable. All Cup Competitions will require separate payment.

ALL FIGURES INCLUDE VAT. For 2010-2011, under the 'cost per game' figures for having a season ticket after deduction of VAT at 17.5%, the Club retains the following: Adult price, £7.66 (VAT £1.34), Concession Price, £5.91 (VAT £1.04) and Under 12, £2.43 (VAT £0.37). From the 4^th January 2011 when the VAT increases to 20% the Club retains: Adult price, £7.50 (VAT £1.50) Concession price, £5.79 (VAT £1.16) and Under 12 price £2.33 (VAT £0.47)

The Club has thought long and hard before putting up prices particularly in the current economic climate. However, it has also had to recognise that increasing costs are significant enough to require some action, to manage what we do carefully and maintain competitiveness on the pitch. Team Manager, Neil Aspin 'I remember being invited to say a few words at the beginning of last season, regarding how important the sale of season tickets was for a Club like FC Halifax Town' continuing' At the time I said the management staff and players would do their best to try and entertain and put together a winning team. If you believe we succeeded in doing that last season, I can only ask for your ongoing support in buying a season ticket, despite the increase for the coming season. The high Stadium and Match Day operational costs are still there and increasing, yet the Board have worked hard to give me a budget to hopefully allow us a competitive side to compete in the higher League next season. Of course, the biggest influence is you the fans and we need to see again the wonderful support you provided for so much of last season. It makes a fantastic difference to the players and not least in attracting players to the Football Club. Please do your best and help us to another sales record of tickets.

Whilst the season tickets have increased as a consequence of the admission prices, they still represent a very useful saving and as Neil Aspin has referred to above, the successful sale of season tickets helps the structure of the playing squad. We would like to thank Sovereign Healthcare for not only supporting the prices of the 'Junior' age groups, but also continuing their support of our 'Schools' Programme, aimed at increasing the young ones coming to the Shay Stadium and getting involved with FC Halifax Town. They are also sponsoring a five aside competition and match day ball boy and girl bibs.

Season tickets will be available to purchase from Friday 30^th July 2010 and will be available until NOON on Friday 20^th August 2010, after which the sale of season tickets ends.
