Shay Stadium Community Football is now fully operational and Nick Walker and myself are hoping to continue promoting both the club and the stadium to the local community. The holiday clubs and our school visits are now at almost maximum potential and we are hopefully going to begin a Saturday morning club in the very near future. The Saturday morning club will give the opportunity for children to stay for the games and hopefully meet one or two players prior to the matches were possible.

 

One change that had to happen was our logo. I approached a company called CreativeJuice Ltd (01132 505540) who asked what it was that we did and hoped to do. They came up with the idea that we needed to involve a logo that was slighty away from the football and more towards Community involvement and progression within our town and area. This is why they created the orange tick that is colourful and hopefully shows that we are trying to bring everything together as a whole rather than just football. I must give special thanks to Daniel Marsden and his team who helped create this in a very short timespan, and they were very professional in their approach and involvement.
