SHAYMEN DOWN SOUTH
 
WHO ARE WE?
A good question! Since the organisation known as Shaymen Down South (SDS) was founded in October 1993 we have gone through various phases. We started as a Southern Supporters' club, branched out to cover all Halifax Town fans living away from Calderdale and now class ourselves simply as ' A Halifax Town Supporters' Club'. I suppose our roots are still in the south east but we now welcome members from anywhere, be it Hunger Hill to the Himalayas.
  
WHAT ARE OUR AIMS?
Our two major aims have been consistent almost from day one - to provide Halifax Town fans with a source of information and to raise funds for Halifax Town. Our primary source of information is our bi-monthly fanzine which from humble beginnings now regularly sells over 300 copies. Our fund raising is becoming more varied. WHO MAKES IT ALL HAPPEN?
So many people do 'their bit' that I always feel reluctant to name names. Apologies in advance to anyone who feels they should be included and haven't been!
