FC Halifax Town go into Saturday's home game against Mossley FC looking to take their frustrations from last Monday night out on their opponents. The Shaymen's important clash away at Curzon Ashton was postponed at a late hour leaving the players and fans frustrated so Neil Aspin is looking for a fine show on home soil.

And, it's on home soil that Town continue to flourish with 10 wins in 11 starts. The latest of these can just a week ago when they overcame Harrogate Railway Athletic 3 v 0 without ever hitting top gear but Mossley are likely to pose a bigger threat.

Under the guidance of new Manager John Flanagan who has succeeded Chris Wilcock they have shown better form and the away tie just over 2 weeks ago proved they will be a tough nut to crack.

That particular game was played on at Ashton United's Hurst Cross ground due to floodlight problems at their own ground and it ended all square at 3 v 3.Andy Watson's late equaliser deep into stoppage time denied Town all 3 points but they aim to take their revenge at the weekend.

It was a rarity for James Dean last week as he failed to hit the target but with 32 goals to his credit already he'll be looking to find the goal trail once again and spearhead the next part of Town's surge for the summit of the table. And, when he's not scoring Town are fortunate to have Richard Marshall and Nick Gray scoring as they did a week ago and it is this fire power they will be looking to again on Saturday.
