With their own ground out of action due to floodlight problems, Mossley FC have switched Tuesday´s game against FC Halifax Town to Hurst Cross, home of neighbours Ashton United.  And, Neil Aspin and his Town team are raring for action after the late postponement of Saturday´s fixture at home to Clitheroe. 

The decision to deem the Shay playing surface unplayable left the Manager, players and spectators frustrated with another game needing slotting into a schedule that is crammed to say the least.

A training session replaced the Clitheroe game and the strong Town squad now looks forward to the Mossley game where Aspin again has some difficult selection decisions to make.  Captain Ryan Crossley proved his return to fitness against North Ferriby a week ago in the Unibond Challenge Cup and both Scott Phelan and Paul Sykes are now available again after respective 3 match suspensions.

The Shaymen have still to meet Mossley in the Unibond League this season, the return game is at the Shay on February 20th, but they did meet in the Unibond Challenge Cup in November where Town won 2 v 1.

Last season´s trip to Mossley started promisingly with Adam Morning netting within the first 30 seconds but a poor performance was the home side run out 3 v 1 winners.  And, although the game is on neutral territory Town will be looking to avenge that defeat and keep up their impressive recent form.
