Tuesday's home game against Wakefield FC in the Unibond Cup gives Jim Vince and his players the chance to get Saturday's FA Cup defeat at Nantwich out of their systems ahead of the more important games that lie ahead. It also gives the Manager a chance to run the rule over his squad members and the bulk of the team that featured in last weeks Unibond Presidents Cup win at Ossett Albion are likely to feature in this game.

Danny Davidson who netted twice in five minutes at Ossett after coming off the bench is one player likely to see match action but Ryan Sugden is unlikely to feature at Jim Vince looks to set up a loan spell for the Striker to give him match practice as he recovers from a thigh injury.

Wakefield also lost in the FA Cup on Saturday, 3 v 0 at home to Fleetwood so they will be looking to find form ahead on next Saturday's fixtures which see the start of the FA Trophy with The Shaymen travelling to Harrogate Railway Athletic.

Former Shay stopper Andy Woods is likely to feature for Wakefield in a game where the admission prices have been slashed to £5 adults, £3 12 to 16 years old / over 65's and Under 11's free.
