The Shaymen take to the road on Saturday with a trip to Nantwich Town in the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Cup.Having successfully seen off Silsden and Ryton in the previous rounds, Jim Vince's side now meet opposition from one division higher in what will be a good test of the teams progress.

Tuesday's victory at Ossett Albion in the Unibond Presidents Cup was the fourth successive win and confidence in the camp is growing. 9 changes were made to the stating line up at Dimple Well from the team which beat Salford City so emphatically a week ago and he is very likely to keep faith with the players who served him so well against the Manchester side.

Amongst their playing squad former Northwich, Macclesfield, Burton Albion and Altrincham defender Darren Tinson will be a familiar face to FC Halifax Town fans.

Town are assured of a sizeable backing on the Nantwich terraces and are looking to progress further in the most prestigious cup competition in football.
