Jim Vince is looking for a positive reaction from his players following Saturday's 2 v 0 at Lancaster City when his team take on Durham City on Bank Holiday Monday at The Shay, kick off 3pm. The Manager criticised his players after the dismal performance at Lancaster and has left them in no doubt that a huge improvement is required, and it is required soon or changes will be made to his squad.

But he is unlikely to make too many changes for the Durham game for two reasons.Firstly the lack of preparation time with only 48 hours between the Lancaster and Durham fixtures and secondly a lengthening injury list.Vince is already without Tony Barras, Adam Morning, Ryan Sugden and now Ross Clegg with Thomas Harban carrying an ankle injury and Junior Brown suffering from shingles.

There will be no excuse however for another below par performance and everyone at FC Halifax Town is confident of a positive result against an unbeaten Durham City side.

Lee Collins men currently occupy 8th position in the league with one win and 2 draws in their opening 3 fixtures. The win came against Wakefield FC (1 v 0) at home and the draws were at home to Colwyn Bay (0 v 0) and away at Skelmersdale United (1 v 1).

Can The Shaymen bounce back and put on the type of performance the Manager is looking for? Come along and support the lads on Monday.
