Boosted by a victory over Ebbsfleet United, Halifax Town head to Essex on Saturday to face Grays Athletic in another very important game for the club.Thursday's victory moved The Shaymen out of the relegation zone and gives them a very realistic chance of avoiding the dreaded drop.

They will face a Grays team that is currently managed by the Owner / Chairman Mick Woodward who took over the reigns from Justin Edinburgh earlier in the season. And Woodward has some fine players at his disposal as the club continues it's conveyer belt of talent that has produced numerous Football League stars over the past few season.

Town and Grays took a point each from a drab game at The Shay earlier this season but the Essex Club did the double over Chris Wilders men last season with 2 v 0 and 1 v 0 wins respectively. The Recreation Ground does however hold fond memories for many Town fans who will recall the play off semi final epic of 2 years ago.

After 3 games in 6 days on a heavy Shay pitch Chris Wilder will make changes for this game.Adam Quinn is expected to return to the heart of the defence with Santos Gaia unavailable as he is currently on loan from Grays.Tom Kearney will start in the centre of midfield and the front pairing is likely to be Andy Campbell and Darryn Stamp.

At his stage of the season it's points not performances that count and Town will be hoping to return North on Saturday evening having added to their current total.
