NVFC Match :- Preview
Halifax Town will hopefully have a match to play this weekend, with a visit to Northwich Victoria in the BSP on Saturday, kick off 3.00pm.
At long last, Brian O'Callaghan will make his debut at centre back, likely to be in the place of Adam Quinn. Rob Scott also returns to the fray, but Thomas Harban is probable to start at right back, with Scott taking a place on the bench.
Craig Nelthorpe and Tom Sharpe may also feature, in a town side raring to go after not having a match for a number of weeks.
Our visit to Northwich see's us up against Cortez Belle, who moved to the Vics this month. Belle, with The Shaymen for only 5 months, was a huge hit with the Shay faithful, and made it clear he didn't want to leave the club. The travelling group are sure to applaud him, and say goodbye in the right manner on Saturday.
Having had three successive games at the Shay postponed due to the weather, Town will be raring to go when they face the struggling Vics.
We're just over halfway through the season, and victories against teams in the relegation zone are a must to ensure our own survival. Northwich have been performing below par this season, with an on-going saga behind the scenes concerning the future of the club. Does anyone see a small similarity with another BSP club within the Northern side of the country.
Enjoy the game - they're far too infrequent nowadays!!
