FC Halifax Town boss Jim Vince is looking forward to this weekend's clash with Chorley on Saturday.

Vince told the official site tonight, "It's been cold and wet tonight. It's been awful conditions up here but you have to get on with it. All the players are in a good mood and buoyant. We can't wait for the weekend to have another game.

It will be good not to have a midweek game for a while now. I don't know if people realise but these lads work during the day, play Tuesday, train Thursday and play Saturday. It's hard for them at the moment. They have dealt with it and their attitude over the last month towards it has been spot on.

We have a settled side and squad now with maybe 1 or 2 more additions in the next week or so.

Chorley will not be an easy game at the weekend. You look at the results, win one, draw one, win one, draw one, lose one and so on. They will be a well organised side but if we perform to our capabilities then we won't need to worry about them. We have to guard against complacency.

The momentum is building now and I hope we have a good crowd for Saturday's game. We have had some great crowds this season. There is something special about this club. The lads can sense it and they know that they will be playing in front of big crowds. They want to play in front of big crowds.

You saw Ashley's reaction to his goal on Tuesday night, he didn't just say thank you very much for my goal but he went off blowing kisses to the crowd. These lads love being here. We have a great bunch of players and hopefully we can give the fans what they want.

I think everyone has trained tonight. We were only missing the usual suspects Steve Payne and Ross should be back in about three to four weeks while we are hoping to have Phil Senior back in 10 days time.

We have had a further report on Ross Clegg that he will not require further surgery so we are hoping he will be back by February. It's a great squad we have here now. "

Come down and support the lads on Saturday and be the 12th men as Town look to make it 10 league games unbeaten.
