Tony Barras has insisted The Shaymen will be all fired up on Bonfire Night Eve when Mossley, the last team to defeat Town in the league, visit The Shay tonight.

After the 1-0 triumph over Curzon Ashton on Saturday, he commented: "I thought it was an excellent victory, with every single player digging in right to the end. Overall we were the better team although they did get a bit of possession after we scored and put us under pressure in the last 15 minutes, but we've got to expect that as the away side. In football you've got to take your chances and we did, so it was a very good win. It was a bit nerve-wracking at the end when they hit the post but we got through it. It's amazing when you go away from home, you're the better side and score, and then, all of a sudden, the team lines up to defend which leads to panic setting in at the end of games. But we saw it through at Curzon and we kept an impressive clean sheet."

And the Captain wants this form to continue against Mossley, in a game everyone associated with the playing-side of the Club desperately wants to win. He revealed:

"It is a case of revenge when we play Mossley after the 3-1 beating they gave us earlier in the season. The Gaffer has been drumming it into us quietly every now and then that he wants each and every one of us fired up for this game. We will be up for it because we definitely owe them one."
