Daniel Enjoyed His Time With Shaymen
FC Halifax Town travel to Curzon Ashton on Saturday in their latest league match.
On loan striker Colin Daniel will be playing his final game of his month's loan spell from Crewe Alexandra and the young frontman has enjoyed his time with the club.
He told the official website after last night's game at Wakefield, "I've enjoyed my time here at FC Halifax Town but I've asked to stay another month. I've got to report back to Crewe tomorrow (Wednesday) and see what they say, so hopefully I can stay here for another month.
Playing in the first eleven has been great and obviously it's better than just training everyday at Crewe because when you're training everyday you lose a bit of sharpness. And it's been great to get some goals as well!
It's always nice to get a hattrick, although the three points were all that mattered really on Saturday. But that's 5 goals in 7 games that I've got so it's a good feeling.
We're not glad that we've lost the game (against Wakefield). The gaffer told us to go out there and get the result but we didn't turn up tonight."
Asked if Saturday's game away to Curzon Ashton will be the last time he is seen in a Town shirt, he replies: "I wouldn't mind stopping, so you never know."
