Former Stockport County and Droylsden winger Danny Ellis was disappointed to see his new side lose in the FA Cup yesterday.

Ellis told the official site after the game, "From what I have seen so far the results have been great but I think we threw it away ourselves today. We didn't look like we were going to get back into the game either."

Ellis joined Town last week and has played two games coming on as a substitute but is enjoying his time with the Shaymen so far.

He said, "It's been great so far, I feel down now but so far it has gone well. The gaffer, Nigel Jemson, all the players and the fans have been good to me so far

I am pretty confident from what I have seen so far that we will be able to go back up through the leagues.

The size of the club, it's a big club in the lower league and it should be higher up and I am sure it will be again.

I have heard good things about the club from other players I have played with at Droylsden

The gaffer is someone who will give you confidence which he has certainly done with me so far and that can only help your game.

Jim has said that I will be staying until the end of the season but it is up to me to prove my worth and show that I am worth it."
