FC Halifax Town entertain Durham City at the Shay on Monday in the Unibond First Division, kick-off 3pm.

Jim Vince will be looking to erase the memory of the 2-0 defeat at Lancaster City on Saturday with their first home win of the season. Your support will be vital so come along and support your team.

Town last played Durham in a competitive match in April 1928 in the Division Three North. The Shaymen were 3-1 winners and drew the corresponding fixture 1-1.

The two sides met each other 14 times between the 1922 and 1928 with Town winning 7 of the encounters and drawing 3 of them.

More recently there have been a few players to have played for both teams.

These include Stuart Elliott, Robert Herbert, Charles Howlett, Benny Lowson and Lee Ludlow.
