FC Halifax Town travel to The Giant Axe on Saturday to take on Lancaster City in the Unibond First Division, kick-off 3pm.

Jim Vince will be hoping to make it two wins in a row following his side's 2-1 win at Trafford FC on Tuesday night.

Town last played Lancaster in a friendly in July 1997 with the Shaymen winning the game 2-1 courtesy of two goals from winger Darren Lyons.

The only competitive match between the two sides was at the Shay in the FA Cup in the 1994/95 season. Town won the game 3-1 thanks to goals from Dave Lancaster and two from Gary Worthington.

There have been a number of players to have played for both the sides over the years.
