Vince Signs Two Players
FC Halifax Town manager Jim Vince has signed former Town favourite Ryan Sugden on a short term deal and 18 year old Luke Hinsley.
Sugden, who spent three years with the Club under former manager Chris Wilder, was named on the team sheet for tonight's game at Guiseley however pulled his thigh in the warmup and had to withdraw from the game.
He told the official website tonight, "It was very disappointing to pull of the game. I am looking to get my fitness back to where it was. I was really looking forward to playing in tonight's game and being involved.
It didn't work out at BPA and they were expecting my fitness levels to be better than they were. Having been out for a year it takes some to get it back. Jim Vince wanted to take a look at me and once I get fit I want to get a run in the team and put this Club back where they should be.
I had some good times here before. It's different circumstances this time around but the Club should be higher than they are."
Jim Vince was pleased to have signed the two players.
He told the official website after the game, "Ryan has obviously been at the club before and he isn't fully fit. He's now pulled his thigh before the game. We'll have to work on him.
Luke has been training with us and he's shown enough to impress me. He's only 18 and he's got some attributes we can work on and help to move his game forwards but he has a lot of potential".
