Halifax Town have signed 29 year old defender Santos Gaia from Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

Gaia, who has previously played for Stevenage Borough and Exeter City, joined Grays on a free transfer in Jan 2008 after having a loan spell from Stevenage at the start of the season.

He has made 179 league appearances scoring 13 goals to date.
