Halifax Town have completed the signing of 24 year old striker Jon Shaw from Blue Square Premier side Burton Albion.

The 6ft 1 frontman joins the Shaymen on the final day of the transfer window and will wear squad number 11.

Shaw started his career with home town club Sheffield Wednesday making 8 starts and had a loan spell with York City.

He joined Burton Albion in November 2004 and has made 101 league appearances, 23 as a substitute and has scored 26 goals.
