FC Halifax Town defender James Riley spoke to Shaymen Player after the team's 0-0 draw at Frickley, and had mixed emotions about the result.

"We're a bit disappointed to end up with just a point because we had enough chances to win the game but we'll take the point as it's a difficult place to come."

Town missed a number of second-half chances, but Riley insists the team is capable of scoring plenty of goals.

"There were three or four one-on-ones and on another night we would have won 4-0, but they'll come. Everyone's still gelling together, but each match we're getting better and with the pace we have up front, we'll score goals."

Riley suffered a nasty injury on Saturday that required stitches, but he said there was never any doubt he wasn't going to play at Frickley.

"I'm fine now. There was no doubt in my mind that I wasn't playing tonight. They told me not to play due to the concussion but if you don't play tonight, you might lose your place for Saturday and I don't want that, I want to play as many games as I can."
