FC Halifax Town Manager Neil Aspin was pleased with the way his side closed the game out in today's 3-0 victory over Prescot Cables

Speaking to Shaymen Player's Adam Cheshire, Aspin said;

"You are always pleased to get three points, particularly with another clean sheet.These are all steps on the road, but we can never take anything for granted.The second goal really settled us down today, but you are never safe until you get the third - we deserved to win."

Although usually restrictive in individual praise, Aspin was effusive in his assesment of Harry Winter's performance;

"It was a goal good enough to win any game.He's been really impressive over the last few weeks and I hope we can keep hold of him.He's on loan until the end of the season, but we want to keep him as long as possible and we would be delighted to sign him permanently."

Looking forward to Tuesday's fixture with Warrington, the manager said;

"Every game is different in terms of preparation, but in a sense nothing changes.There may be issues with travel, players having a full day at work then a long trip for instance, but we still have to take every game as it comes.We prepare properly for every single game and look to take this form forward."
