Andrew Lee tasted life in an FC Halifax Town shirt for the very first time as he made his debut in the 4-2 win over Mossley. Signed from Ossett Town earlier in the week, Neil Aspin gave him some valuable minutes and a chance to make an instant impression in front of 1267 Shay fans. Speaking after the "enjoyable" experience, Lee told the Official Website:

"I enjoyed it to be honest. I had a good blow out in the last 15 or so minutes, but the lads played well and it was nice to watch them win. I've been watching them and they've been doing well. It's a lovely ground, I know some of the lads, so hopefully I'll have a successful time here."

And the winger, who has also had spells at Bradford City, Bradford Park Avenue and also in Australia, is hoping he can make a quick impression to force his way into the starting eleven. He said:

"I've known Trevor Storton from my time at Guiseley and Neil Aspin is a very fair manager so hopefully I can prove myself."
