FC Halifax Town produced an impressive display to beat Mossley, and it was the quality, as well as the quantity, of goals that impressed the coaching staff.

The Shaymen's manager Neil Aspin spoke to Adam Cheshire of the Official website after the game, saying;

"There was good play leading into all of the goals.Everyone is contributing and that is showing in the performances as well as the nature of the goals.James Dean has had two of his best games and hasn't got on the score sheet, which just proves we can get goals from anywhere."

Aspin reserved special praise for captain Ryan Crossley, who scored his first goal since his long injury lay-off;

"It's great for him to score and get some full games under his belt.He has had a long spell out with quite a serious injury, but - touchwood - he is getting through games at the moment, and will take it game by game.But I'm really pleased to have him back.

For the first time this season, the Shaymen's first eleven was unchanged for the third time in a row, something which Aspin is pleased with;

"We have had a lot of games since the start of the season.We had a strong side back then, but we haven't been able to consistently pick the same team for one reason or another.Now we are out of the cups, hopefully you will see some more consistency as I pick the side that can win us the game"

Finally, the Shaymen chief commented on the performance of debutant Andy Lee, who made his debut today;

"He is left footed, which we don't have many of - particularly in forward positions.I was always going to give him a run-out today as he is basically on trial - he has a month with us to impress me."
