Gedman - Win Was Needed To Keep Us Going
FC Halifax Town beat Curzon Ashton 1-0 this afternoon courtesy of Junior Brown's second half header.
Town had Paul Gedman back in the side after he made the switch from Droylsden on a permanent deal this week.
Gedman told the official website after the game, "It was a good win which was needed to keep the momentum going. The gaffer wants us to keep getting the results.
It was my first game for a while and it was a battle out there for me today, I need some fitness it wasn't bad though. I need to get sharper, get a few touches and a few shots in but it will come.
I really enjoyed my loan spell here. Everything here is great, it's a well run club and the gaffer is great and the players that he's bringing in are good. You know something special is happening here. I know it's early in the season but if we don't win the league I would be very disappointed.
I was at the game last week and I was itching to get on but the deal hadn't been done and now I can't wait to play at the Shay on Tuesday night."
Town entertain Mossley at the Shay on Tuesday night, 7-45pm kickoff.
