FC Halifax Town boss Jim Vince was very disappointed to have seen his side lose at Harrogate Railway this afternoon.

He said after the game, "Defensively we were all at sea today and I think there were too many players pointing fingers at each other. It's your fault, no it's not it's everyone's responsibility. They have to take responsibility, I have asked the players after the game whether it is something I am doing wrong or Nigel Jemson is doing wrong, why can't they play at the levels we expect? Why can't they defend to the levels that we expect?

They all said it wasn't me so whose fault is it then? It's clear to see that players are not showing enough passion and commitment to a massive club like ours.

You have to have a platform to win a game; you haven't got a chance of winning a game the way they defended today.

No disrespect to Harrogate Railway but how can they beat FC Halifax Town today?

There are no excuses and I guess the defeat is my fault. It's got to be I put the team together and it's my responsibility. Clearly there is an issue and something that isn't quite right.

Things will have to be addressed as that result is not good enough for our club. There are two or three or even a few more of them from the team who still think they are playing in the league. They think that they can just turn up and win the game.

We've had the conversation where one of my players has said that he is working hard. You can get a Sunday league player to work hard; the reason why you play for this club is so you can show the quality that's in their game. It's getting that across to the team; our passing was poor again today.

I'm not happy and everyone who will have watched the game will be unhappy with that. There were some of our supporters saying to the players after the game that they were unlucky. It wasn't unlucky, take the fact we could have a couple of penalties out of the equation, we weren't good enough and something has to give.

Colin Daniel has done okay today for his first game. The service up to him and Ashley Stott was rubbish today, when we had the ball in a wide area we had no penetration.

Two set plays have killed us again and that's responsibility. It's no good pointing fingers the players have to be man enough to take responsibility.

I'll take the criticism because it is my job to do so and we have to do a job on Tuesday night and put it right. I'm sick of tired about this and we've had these conversations over the last few weeks, we weren't good enough, we could do better, that was awful, that was embarrassing. I've had enough and I don't need it. The players aren't doing what we are asking them to do.

You can preserve for so long with certain players and then you have to say that it is not working. I've done it in the past and it's not a knee jerk reaction but things have to change.

Ben Jones is not good enough for our club but he has shown the desire and willingness to show us what he could do. We've got egg on our faces. I like Ben as a lad but he is not good enough to wear the Halifax shirt but he's shown that he doesn't care about that and he's knocked us out of the FA Trophy today. We've got to take that on the chin and you can only say well done and move on.

Congratulations to Harrogate Railway and I hope they do well now in the next round. "
