Vince Pulls No Punches
FC Halifax Town boss Jim Vince was seething with his side's performance in the 3-1 defeat at Mossley tonight.
He told the official site, "We weren't good enough. They were better than us tonight and that is wrong. I have told the players in the dressing room that I am not having it and I won't put up with it.
On Thursday night there will be 3 or 4 of them that will be transfer listed. We can't have that kind of performance and I have told them that. It was unacceptable.
I am not doing it tonight but I have told them that I will do on Thursday night. I am not going to be embarrassed like that again."
The Town boss was forced into a change ahead of the game with Craig Smith forced to pull out of the game and he brought in Kris King as his replacement.
He said, "Craig pulled his thigh in the warm up but you can't make excuses for that kind of performance. They were better than us, it tells me that the players aren't up to the task and if I have to I will transfer list the lot of them. I am not here to make friends I am here to win.
It was a great goal for us, however all three goals for them were soft. I thought Tom Harban had an absolute nightmare for us but things will be addressed this week.
Junior Brown pulled his hamstring and could be out for three to four weeks.
Good points from tonight's game - three or four of the players will no longer be here by Thursday. I don't want to work with players like that and tonight was not good enough".
Town face a trip to the North East to play Ryton in the FA Cup on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
