FC Halifax Town drew 0-0 with Vodkat Premier side Silsden at the Shay.

"It's the old adage, you make your own luck and we are trying. It's not going for us at the moment but we are still in the hat.

For me we have to take the opportunities and I think we'll be okay when we get the first one, I'm pretty convinced about that.

I thought our performance was okay today and was pleased with it.Our ball retention was good and we created some good chances. There was no one in the team who didn't perform today and I thought they all performed to a good level.

They were resilient and had a go which you would expect them to do. I couldn't understand their goalkeeper every time you touched him he kept going down; I don't like that to be fair.

Tough game now and we expect that they will have another go on Wednesday night.

I just don't understand how we haven't scored.Maybe we need to have a little more composure up front. Maybe it's me and I am doing something wrong, we are down everything right up to the six yard box. An own goal would do me at the moment.

Priority for me is to get a goal and if we do we have a chance to win a game."
