CTFC Match :- Wilder's View
Halifax Town boss Chris Wilder was in buoyant mood after tonight's 4-0 win.
He said after the game, "We couldn't win four games 1-0 we saved them for one night.
I thought we were excellent against a very good Crawley side tonight, it's a difficult place to come.
Nine out of ten times they produce a result here and we always knew it would be difficult.
From the first minute the attitude was first class, we played decent football, we created chances and managed to be more clinical in front of goal which I have asked for the players to be.
We deserved the win which was most important thing tonight and the players will be able to take positives from that
They have a lot of players who are attacking and can beat teams emphatically. We never thought it would be easy and they would come out fighting. We have matched them and deserved the win.
To score 4 away from home as been a long time coming and the manner of goals was superb. We scored at good times, defended well and keeper dealt with what he needed to
We wore the opposition down and we are delighted to have got the result
Jon Shaw always stands up to be counted. The way he handles himself off the pitch is superb
Everyone played their part and we needed a result out of tonight, now we've done it we can move on to Saturday.
I have the told the players they need to keep a lid on it, prepare for the game properly as nothing is achieved yet.
There is pressure on us to stay in this league, the players need to carry on fighting and will continue to do so.
We need to finish the job on Saturday and finish on a high."
