Halifax Town manager Chris Wilder was delighted with his side's 2nd win in the last two games,

He said after the game, "It was a great result but it was an indifferent performance from us especially in the first half when I thought we were poor.

We went behind to a controversial goal again, they'll obviously been a talking point at the end from Weymouth with the penalty. I didn't think it was a penalty myself.Who am I to argue when Jon Shaw was fouled in the penalty area last week?

I was disappointed with the first half performance, so we asked a few questions of the players at half time. We didn't look like we wanted it enough; we made bad decisions all over the pitch. We flipped it around a bit and brought on a couple of substitutions. The boys took on what we wanted to do and achieve. They grasped the nettle of it and grasped the game by the scruff of the neck and deservedly went on to win the game.

We hadn't won for 5 or 6 games in the league; we turned the pressure up in the second half. I didn't think it was the easiest place to come and play football today but I thought the players responded magnificently in the second half. They have it a right go, winning tackles, winning headers further up the pitch. We marked their striker's tighter.

To be fair after 10 minutes it could have been 3-3. Their goalkeeper has made two unbelievable saves and our goalkeeper has made two great saves as well. It was a good response from the players. We shouldn't have to lift the lid off them at halftime but they responded and that's now two wins on the bounce and we can go to Altrincham on Tuesday. Hopefully we won't put ourselves into the position we had at halftime and make sure we start the game from the 1st minute."
