Vince Hit By Massive Blow
FC Halifax Town manager Jim Vince has been dealt a massive blow that midfielder Ross Clegg could miss the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.
Vince told the official site, "He's had his operation today and they have mended his cartilage however we think he's done his cruciate ligaments which is a massive blow for us.
From a club perspective it's bad news but from a personal point of view you don't wish that on him. He's a lovely lad and we think he'll be out for the rest of the season and maybe beyond that too.
It's a shame so I will need to bring in someone which I am working on at the moment.
Danny Davidson is unfit at the moment, he got himself injured on Tuesday night. Ryan Sugden will be involved next week but that will be from a training session until we see how fit he is. We have too many players injured to be carrying players so a couple may have to go out on loan to get fit.
Tony Barras has declared himself fit and that is a massive boost to have him back in the side."
Ryton vs FC Halifax Town - Saturday 13th September, 3pm kickoff.
