Vince Handed Boost For Weekend
FC Halifax Town manager Jim Vince has been handed a massive boost ahead of Saturday's opening game with the news that Kris King, Tom Harban and Junior Brown are all fit to play.
It's also expected that Adam Morning and Neil Ross will also be fit to play against Bamber Bridge. However defender Tony Barras is to undergo a scan to find out the extent of a knee injury.
Jim Vince told the official site, "Alan Russell Cox has been fantastic and has been treating the lads for the last couple of days.
Fortunately for us Kris King was only an impact injury and he's trained with us tonight. He's done everything that the others have done, so he'll be okay for Saturday.
Tom Harban has also declared himself fit for Saturday. Junior is okay and trained with us tonight.
It's ironic really, we got these injuries a couple of weeks ago and the players miraculously declare themselves fit just as the season starts. It's good though they want to be playing.
Tony will be going for a scan, we're not sure on the problem with his knee but hopefully it will be clear."
