Chief Exits Club

Posted on: Tue 22 Jun 2010

Former Halifax Town striker Wayne Allison has left League One side Tranmere Rovers as a coach.

The Chief who played for The Shaymen in the 1980´s worked alongside Les Parry and another former Town player Shaun Garnett at Prenton Park.

"I'm very sorry to see Wayne leave the club," said Parry. "He did a great job while he was here and the three of us worked well as a team. "Unfortunately, looking at the staffing budgets, decisions had to be made. Further discussions will take place with the board regarding the new staffing structure."
