Manager Steps Down For Good Of Team

Former Droylsden and Halifax Town striker Dave Cameron has resigned as manager of Unibond Premier League side Bradford Park Avenue.

"It is easy to forget that Dave came to us last season with our promotion dream turning into a nightmare," said chairman Dr John Dean, "he steadied the ship, took us on a seven game unbeaten run and secured the Unibond Division One North title. We will be forever grateful."

Mike Marsh has taken over Avenue on a caretaker basis, who are currently eighth in the Unibond Premier League.

Meanwhile former Town loanee Dean Oliver has joined Belper Town.
