Former Halifax Town midfielder Neil Redfearn has joined Unibond First Division side Salford City.

New boss Ashley Berry has made a number of signings as he looks to improve their form this season. They have so far picked up only two points from the first 30 on offer.

Former Town frontman Ian Fitzpatrick has rejoined Unibond League Division One side Radcliffe Borough for a nominal fee from Ashton United.

Meanwhile former Town defender Jake Wright has been called up to the England C squad to face Italy at the Stadio Santa Columba in Benevento, near Naples, on Wednesday, November 12th.

Wright is now plying his trade with Blue Square Premier side Crawley Town.
