Former Halifax Town fullback Adam Yates has joined Blue Square Premier side Burton Albion on loan.

Manager Nigel Clough told Mail Sport: "We needed to get someone in to help us out while our numbers are down.

"Adam fits the bill because he plays on the right and opens up another option for us at the back."

He goes straight into the squad for the Brewers match against Lewes tomorrow.
