Former Halifax Town midfielder Ian Hutchinson has been named new manager of Toolstation Western League Division One club Bridport.

He said: "I'm absolutely delighted to be given this opportunity by Adrian Scadding because I've had managerial ambitions for some time. In this league you need to be realistic but they came fourth-bottom last year and I'm looking to improve on that this season and play in the right manner with an attacking brand of football."
