Duffield Refuses To Gloat
Former Halifax Town striker Peter Duffield has warned his side not to gloat as the Unibond League One Division One South title draws nearer.
He said: "It was a good win in awful conditions, but if any of the players star talking about being champions they will be out of the side.
"We play Gresley Rovers on Tuesday and I have to much respect for them and their manager. But if we win that one we may be able to tie up the title next week. In the meantime, I expect my players to continue giving maximum effort for the fans. I never shirked as player, and I don't expect my men to do so."
