Former Bury and Halifax Town goalkeeper Lee Bracey has been awarded UniBond League`s `Safe Hands` for January.

Bracey is currently plying his trade with Rossendale United and helped his side to nine games unbeaten in the month.

Rossendale manager Derek Egan said: "Lee has been a major contributor to our recent improved performances and results, giving the back four much-needed confidence and stability. His shot stopping in particular has enabled us to stay in games we otherwise would have lost.

"He is a pleasure to work with and we hope will be available for a few seasons yet."
