Notts County manager Ian McParland is keen to keep former Gillingham and Halifax Town loanee Felix Bastians for the remainder of the current season.

The German Under 19 International´s loan expired at the weekend from their City neighbours Notts Forest

 McParland said: "We have had a chat with Felix about staying until the end of the season and the chat was positive, but we have spoken again since and he is not sure now.

"He wants to hold off a bit because he says a few other clubs are looking at him to take him on loan, which is a bit frustrating. But he knows the door is still open for him here."

Bastians made 9 league appearances scoring 4 goals for the Shaymen in the 2006-07 season.
