Former Derby County, Bournemouth, Wycombe Wanderers and Halifax Town striker Lionel Ainsworth has joined Cola Championship side Watford from Hereford United for an undisclosed fee.

The 20 year old joined The Hornets in November on loan and has made 2 appearances for them.

He made two appearances for the Shaymen last January scoring 1 goal whilst on loan from Derby County.

Former Halifax Town loanee Felix Bastians has made the short trip across the Trent to join Notts County on a month's loan from neighbours Nottingham Forest

The German youth international winger has made 12 appearances for Chesterfield this season on loan from Forest

He made 9 appearances for Town scoring 4 goals last season.

Meanwhile former Barnsley, Charlton and Halifax Town midfielder Neil Redfearn has left UniBond League Division One North side Bridlington Town following the departure of manager Ash Berry.

Former Town defender Paul Stoneman was joint boss with Berry and is now considering a move to carry on as a player only with the East coast club.
