Cartwright Returns To Former Club

Posted on: Sun 02 Dec 2007

Former Shrewsbury Town and Halifax Town goalkeeper Mark Cartwright has returned to Leek Town.

Cartwright is helping caretaker boss Wayne Johnson, who was a player/assistant manager at Leek after Paul Moore's departure to take over at Unibond Division One South side Warrington Town.

Meanwhile Town boss Chris Wilder was due to line up with his former assistant manager Sean McAuley and former Town winger Andy Kiwomya in a Charity game today as Sheffield FC Veterans XI took on Emmerdale All Stars. However the game was called off due to the weather.
