Coca Cola League Two side Bury have signed striker James Dean on a 12 month deal.

Dean, who started pre-season with Town on trial, had agreed a deal to join Bridlington Town after putting himself on the transfer list at Northwich Victoria.

Bury manager Chris Casper told their official site, "James is what you would call an old fashioned centre forward. He's strong in the air, has good power and pace plus he's got an eye for a goal as well.He will be a good addition to the squad because he has that aggressive streak in him and defenders will not enjoy playing against him."

He played against Sheffield Wednesday for the Shaymen and also in the behind closed door's game with Rotherham United, however Town boss Chris Wilder did not pursue his interest in the striker.
