Sunday is the day of the annual FC Halifax Town open day where fans get to meet the Manager and Players, have their photos taken, obtain autographs as well as looking behind the scenes at the Shay.
The weather forecast is good, a dry day with sunny intervals is expected and the gates open at 12 noon, with access to the Shay via the South Stand turnstiles inside the main car park.
The South Stand Bar will be open throughout the afternoon for a cold beer or two and the Players photo shoot is scheduled to take place around 1pm.There is still an opportunity for you to sit alongside Neil Aspin and his squad, all you need to do is E-Mail supportersclub@halifaxafc.co.uk to reserve your place but there will be an opportunity to participate on the day.Please listen to the tannoy announcements which will direct you.
Season Tickets for the 10 / 11 campaign are available from the banqueting suite but please note access to this area is from pitch side only.A range of souvenirs are also available.
Sales and Marketing Executive Pete Stajic will be on hand in the banqueting suite to talk to any company or individual with regard to the excellent sponsorship opportunities the club has to offer.Whether this is a full match sponsorship, match ball or a Players kit, Pete wants to see you.
At 2 PM a number of former Halifax Town legends will be participating in a game on the 5 a side court.Currently Conference winners Jon Brown, Dave Hanson and Andy Thackeray will be playing against a number of fans who have bid for the privilege to play against the former Shaymen.
From 3 PM onwards focus moves to the South Stand Bar where a Race Night takes place.Horse sponsorship will be available, simply come to the Bar at this time and name your horse.
