FC Halifax Town are pleased to confirm the loan signing of Alex Titchiner.
The striker has joined the Shaymen for the second time this season from parent club Fleetwood Town.
Titchiner began his career at Crewe Alexandra but after failing to break into the first team joined Chasetown and then Colwyn Bay on loan between 2009 and 2010.
After his loan spell at the Welsh club, Titchiner made his stay permanent at the Seagulls before another double loan spell at Chester and Witton Albion. He again made his stay permanent signing for the Northern Premier Division side in August 2011 – scoring 44 goals in all competitions.
In May 2012, Titchiner signed a professional contact with Fleetwood Town; making just eight appearances for the Cod Army.
Six months later Titchiner joined FC Halifax Town making his debut against Brackley on October 27th. The Welshman made three appearances for the club and scoring four goals in the process. His time at the club saw him bag a second half hat-trick in a 4-1 victory over Droylsden in the league before being re-called by Fleetwood.
His loan spell expires after the Shaymen’s game with Boston United on April 13th.
FC Halifax Town would like to welcome Alex back to the club and hope he enjoys a successful period with the Shaymen.
